Any product sold by SMART RETAIL SRL and accompanied by the manufacturer's warranty certificate is subject to the work procedure found on that certificate and is replaced only in the service networks found in the manufacturer's warranty certificate.
The solution of the products sent for warranty is done in the following ways, in the order presented below:
1. Repair
2. Replacement
3. Cancellation of the defective product (credit note) - the product cannot be repaired or replaced - the customer's account will be credited (charged) with the initial value of the order. Orders that partially or fully use amounts from credit operations will be delivered to the office only on presentation of a valid identity document. The balance created after a Credit Note will be returned to a bank account
All electronic products sold on smarrt.ro benefit from a 24-month warranty.
The terms and conditions of the guarantee are in accordance with the legal provisions: Government ordinance no. 21 / 1992 regarding consumer protection, law no. 449 / 2003 regarding the sale of products and their associated guarantees.
Products with physical defects such as: bumps, cracks, chips, burnt or cracked components/parts, etc., damaged, removed or modified warranty labels or seals, products used in inappropriate conditions (inappropriate supply voltages, subject to large variations in temperature and pressure, mechanical shocks, incorrect handling, use of products in conditions of humidity, dust or under the action of chemical substances, password-protected software, etc.), incorrect settings and installations, faulty sources, sockets without grounding, penetration of liquids, metals or other substances inside the equipment, mechanical or plastic intervention on the products, connecting or disconnecting certain components during the operation of the equipment, viruses, wrong rewrites of software and applications or password-protected products/software, etc. as well as the products for the installation of which the installation programs were used incorrectly or drivers or programs other than the original ones were used. The installation or commissioning of the products by unauthorized persons leads to the loss of the warranty. Programs and information saved on storage media can be deleted during service operations. We recommend making regular back-ups and necessarily before sending the products for warranty.
The maximum settlement period is 15 calendar days.
After bringing the product into compliance, it can be picked up directly from the Service or you can request its shipment by courier.
Bringing into compliance can be done by:
- debugging / repairing the product;
- partial or complete replacement of the product;
- replacement with products with performance at least similar / equal to that of the product that cannot be repaired or replaced with the same model;
- return of the product value in the event that repair or replacement is not possible;
Responsibilities of the customer
The warranty conditions do not apply to problems or damages caused by the customer or in circumstances such as, but not limited to the following:
- the product has been tampered with, repaired and/or modified by unauthorized personnel;
- the serial number of the product (S/N - "serial number", IMEI, etc.), components or accessories have been modified, canceled or removed;
- the warranty seals were broken or changed;
- the product has physical defects: bumps, cracks, chips, rust or shows traces of use in inappropriate conditions: inadequate supply voltages, subject to large variations in temperature and pressure, incorrect handling, incorrect settings and installations, viruses, software rewrites, penetration of liquids, metals or other substances inside the equipment, etc.;
- inability to use due to forgotten or lost passwords / security measures.
PROCEDURE FOR SENDING PRODUCTS UNDER WARRANTY
The products brought or sent to the attention of the service department must be complete, contain all the accessories (we recommend that they be brought / sent in the original packaging or a suitable packaging to avoid their damage caused by the transport conditions) and accompanied by a copy of the invoice purchase tax or the warranty certificate that you can find in the customer account for each individual order.
Products not picked up from the service unit within 6 months from the completion of operations will be declared abandoned (according to the provisions of the Civil Code).

The products for warranty will be picked up by the courier company at our request. Please send us all the details to office.smarrt@gmail.com After the approval of your request, in about 2 days, the courier will come to pick up the product. Please pack the product carefully before handing it over to the courier, to protect it during transport. The product will be brought by the courier to the smarrt.ro reception service
